Lionel Messi's Argentina return didn't quite go to plan as they lost 3-1 to Venezuela on Friday night.
While he was undoubtedly the best player for the Albiceleste, Messi has still come in for criticism from Daniel Passarella for his attitude.
"He's a great player who can give a lot to any team," Passarella said.
"But when he plays for Barcelona he has a different attitude.
"He's better there.
"Sometimes these things happen.
"You play well for a team and they love you, but you don't feel at ease and something doesn't fit.
"I don't know what it is, but it should be something you feel inside."

He was by far the best player on the pitch, but cmon look at the players that we're around him on the pitch last night, 3 debutants & & about 5 players with less than 10 caps in the entire career, Lautoro missed 2 great chances & honestly, no one else created for Argentina apart from the Goat, the defense is shambolic & Argentina are really missing a Good Goalkeeper.

With Barca, Messi could move to the final third and even score, at least he has players to support him mostly. he plays for Argentina and you wonder if they are out there to get him. no assistance, the ones he gives too are wasted. any good striker upfront against Venezuela would have won the day for Argentina. He is forced to sit deep in midfields for Argentina. Go back and watch that game. He gave assist, created goal scoring chances but were all wasted. the keeper and his defense were pure waste. why the coach called up such players, only Jah knows. I am sometimes forced to say, Argentina doesn't deserve Messi.

Smh I don’t understand how people can’t jus realize that the Argentina team is not as good as it use to be. He was the best player in the match and all they do is blame him for the lost. Back way thinking. The other players need to carry their weight. The difference is that in Barca team each and ever player does wat they need to do. In Argentina all they do is depend on Messi. Even Portugal has a better team than Argentina. Messi is not the problem and yesterday he showed that

Messi played a good game yesterday in the 1st half he takes on 3 players and makes crosses twice but the attackers can't score so should be 2 assists if so and in the 2nd half he's the playmaker starting the attack which the striker converts only 1 this time. They surely missed a killer striker like Aguero upfront due to lack of a creative midfielder or player and as always if the midfield doesn't provide Messi as a striker starts playing as a creative midfielder but then you need someone like Aguero to score the goals. And this was a friendly game to try out some of the young new who can play and combine with Messi like the coach said.

Okay idiot, A. He’s not playing with Manduzic. B. You can’t compare one team to another, just because they have 1 same player. C. The manager and overall team of Juve, is much superior to Argentina
