Serhou Guirassy's agent has spoken of the striker's Premier League dream after Arsenal were linked with a move for the 24-year-old.
With the transfer landscape expected to be transformed by the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak, Guirassy's representative Mark McKay reckons his client could be one of the bargains of the summer.
He would say that, of course. But Guirassy did score nine league goals for a struggling Amiens side that were eventually relegated from Ligue 1 when the French season was ended early due to the pandemic.
Guirassy, who play on the left wing as well as up front, is expected to be in demand this summer, with West Ham and Bournemouth interested in him as well as Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.
And with club finances ravaged by the impact of Covid-19, the former France under-20 international could be available for as little as £10million, having joined Amiens for half that fee last summer from German outfit Koln.
“A number of clubs in England and across Europe have shown an interest in Serhou after he performed so well for Amiens,” said McKay.
“In the current climate due to the impact of the pandemic, clubs might not be able to pay huge transfer fees like they used to and in that respect Serhou could prove to be a bargain in this window."
McKay added: “Serhou’s preference has always been to play in the English Premier League, but Amiens will evaluate all offers that come in for him and make a decision from there."
Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has opened up on his future plans after spending the season on loan at Roma.
Mkhitaryan has made a positive impression during his time in Serie A, and negotiations have begun between Roma and the Gunners over a permanent transfer.
Arsenal want £10million for the former Manchester United man as they look to rebuild this summer amid the financial hit of the coronavirus pandemic.
And Mkhitaryan has made his feelings clear - stating he prefers Serie A to the Premier League.
"Since the first day I arrived here in Rome, I feel very good in the club, in the city, and of course it would be nice to stay here," said the Armenia international in an interview with the Italian embassy back in his homeland.
"Comparing it to England, Germany and Ukraine, it has special things. People underrate Serie A but I would say it’s more than interesting to play here.
