Carragher's praise
Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher has heaped praise on Arsenal for the way they have dealt with star striker Gabriel Jesus getting injured back in November. Speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Carragher said: "A big thing we should give Arsenal credit for, I think when Jesus got injured they were five points clear of Man City."
"How long's he been injured? Three months? They're still five points clear. You've got to give them massive credit for that because there were a lot of questions asked. He's about to come back and he was an absolute revelation in those early months."
Victor Osimhen pursuit
Arsenal are leading the race to sign Napoli star centre-forward Victor Osimhen during this summer's transfer window, according to Italian outlet Rai.
The report, as relayed by Tutto Napoli, claims that the Gunners are current favourites to sign the Nigerian international ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea whilst French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also said to hold an interest in the prolific striker.
It goes on to say that Napoli value Osimhen at around £133million.
