Arsenal transfer update as Edu confirms deadline day plans

Edu has provided an update on Arsenal's plans ahead of transfer deadline day on Friday. The Gunners' sporting director was in Monaco to witness the Champions League group stage draw on Thursday evening.

"Very traditional teams," he said reacting to Arsenal's opponents. "Strong ones. You cannot choose the teams you’re going to play. All of them are hard. We’re happy to be in the competition which is the most important.

"When we’re talking about Arsenal we have to play well in all competitions. It will be important to do our best and perform in the best way possible.

"I think the fans and the club really deserve (to be in the Champions League). We worked so hard to come back. It’s a big bonus from last season, the way we behaved as a club and the way everyone worked was to be back in the Champions League."

Gabriel Magalhaes drops huge transfer hint as Arsenal face deadline day threat

Gabriel Magalhaes has dropped a huge transfer hint regarding his future at Arsenal ahead of deadline day. The summer transfer window closes on Friday evening with the Gunners hoping to see off interest in the Brazilian defender from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad and Juventus.

Gabriel has now hinted that he is set to stay at Arsenal despite strong interest from Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club are looking for defensive reinforcements and are considering moves for Marquinhos and Liverpool's Joe Gomez.

The Arsenal star posted a picture of himself repping the new Arsenal away kit on Instagram ahead of deadline day with a very interesting caption. The post hinted that he is looking to continue another chapter with the Gunners as the caption read: "Ready to write a new story!!!"

Emile Smith Rowe breaks silence after Arsenal make Chelsea transfer decision

Emile Smith Rowe has broken his silence with a post on Instagram after Arsenal rejected a transfer enquiry from Chelsea earlier this week. The Hale End graduate is yet to feature in the Premier League for the Gunners this term despite returning to full fitness over the summer.

Smith Rowe has now broken his silence after sending a supportive message to Arsenal team-mate Eddie Nketiah - who received an England call-up for the upcoming international break - on social media. The 23-year-old posted a picture of Nketiah with the message: "My guy *clap emoji* *heart emoji*."
