Arturo Vidal expressed his satisfaction at keeping up his impressive scoring record this season for Barcelona.
The Chilean notched his eighth goal of the campaign in LaLiga Santander with the only goal of the game in the Blaugrana's 1-0 win against Real Valladolid.
"I'm putting in good performances," Vidal said at full-time.
"The important thing is that [my goal] helped us get three points, which was very difficult.
"I hope to keep scoring."
Barcelona struggled in the second half at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla and had to rely on Marc-Andre ter Stegen to help them out.
"When we have control, teams play to catch us out and try to score," Vidal said.
"Marc is doing a good job and he's helping us."
The win moves Barcelona to within one point of Real Madrid at the top of the table in LaLiga Santander.
"[The title] isn't in our hands," Vidal admitted.
"We're going to keep improving and giving our best.
"If it's not to be, we'll get in the best shape for the Champions League."
