Atletico Madrid demonstrated their fighting spirit once again on Saturday by bouncing back from a disappointment with yet another win.
Los Rojiblancos got straight back to work after their shock Copa del Rey elimination at the hands of Girona by earning their biggest away victory of the campaign so far against Huesca.
It is the ninth time this campaign that Atletico have responded to either a draw or a defeat with a win at the next time of asking.
Out of eleven matches which have not ended in a win for Atletico, only two were not met with three points the following week, an attitude which will likely see them go all the way in the battle for the league and the Champions League.

Without taking credit to Girona, the cup was an accident. Playing as we did, few games are going to lose, even in spite of the defensive mistrust of the Catalans. Now, look forward and step by step. I think this year can end up being magnificent.
