If Barcelona want to sign Antoine Griezmann then they'll have to pay the full 120 million euros of his release clause in a one-off payment, as Atletico Madrid are still refusing to negotiate the amount or the manner of the player's transfer.
Barcelona would like to pay the fee in instalments, but Atleti are firm in their stance that they want the full amount up front.
The one Blaugrana player of interest to Atletico is Nelson Semedo, and he didn't even come in conversations last week so the capital city club are standing firm.
There has been no contact with Los Rojiblancos from Barcelona or from the player this week, so nothing has changed since last Friday when a strongly worded statement was released from the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
Griezmann hasn't even shown up for pre-season training, a matter that will be dealt with internally given that he is still currently an Atletico player.
