Atletico should've had a penalty for Casemiro's kick on Morata, says ref expert

Atletico Madrid's players were convinced that they should have been awarded a penalty in the 66th minute of the Madrid derby, and they may have had a point.

Alvaro Morata fell to the ground under a Casemiro challenge, with the score at 2-1 to Los Blancos at the time.

"The image shows us Casemiro bringing down Morata," refereeing expert Andujar Oliver said on Radio MARCA.

"He puts out a leg and takes him down.

"The Catalan referee [Xavier Estrada Fernandez] should have given a penalty."
