B/R rank Barcelona first in 2026-27 Champions League kits, followed by Bayern Munich and Roma

According to B/R, Barcelona's away jersey has been ranked first among the best Champions League kits for the 2026-27 season.

In B/R's rankings of Champions League kits from 36 teams, Barcelona's away jersey takes the top spot, with Bayern Munich, Roma, and Arsenal also making the top 5. Here are the rankings:

10th place: SK Slovan Bratislava away kit. The Adidas kit with Nike sponsorship features light blue with black stripes in a simple design. SK Slovan Bratislava's monochrome kit from the previous season was also quite distinctive.

9th place: RB Leipzig away kit. The red and yellow color scheme is striking, though officially labeled as "electric blue." The Red Bull logo's colors blend seamlessly into the overall design.

8th place: Real Betis third kit. The muted blue and black base is paired with neon accents, and the sleeve and collar design doesn't overpower the main body. Real Betis has experimented with blue elements before, and this kit achieves a better balance.

7th place: Internazionale away kit. Featuring a pinstripe design and a monochrome club crest, B/R considers this potentially the best-looking Inter away kit since the snake-inspired design of the 2021-22 season.

6th place: Liverpool home kit. This kit pays homage to the classic design from the 1989-91 season, blending retro elements with modern design for 2026.

5th place: FK Austria Wien away kit. The kit features a red spiral pattern concentrated in the central area, with the sleeves in a less ornate design. FK Austria Wien will face Real Madrid away in the Champions League this season.

4th place: Arsenal third kit. The kit features the iconic "banana yellow" style of the 1990s, continuing Arsenal's nostalgic tradition. B/R believes Adidas's minimalist design creates a visually striking kit without excessive detailing.

3rd place: AS Roma third kit. This kit features the club crest centered on the chest with an embossed leaf pattern. B/R praises Roma for creating a distinctive design that stands out despite the prevalence of similar templates.

2nd place: Bayern Munich third kit. The kit combines purple and orange with elements from the club's history. The design reportedly pays tribute to Arjen Robben's goal in the 2013 Champions League final, as well as Franz Beckenbauer, Oliver Kahn, and Patrik Andersson.

1st place: Barcelona away kit. This kit, which pays tribute to Kobe Bryant, previously ranked 2nd on B/R's list of the best sports kits across all sports this season, and now tops the Champions League kit rankings. The purple and black color scheme reflects the connection between Barcelona and the NBA legend.
