Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale's presence for Wales in this international break has generated a lot of debate back in the Spanish capital, with a chant emerging from the Welsh fans which seems to poke fun at the 30-year-old's priorities.
The chant of "Wales, golf, Madrid" went viral on social media, and it brought a smile to Bale's face when he was asked about it.
"Yeah, we want the Welsh fans to be the same as always," Bale said.
"To be supporting us, to sing, to be the 12th man."
Bale picked up an injury in the last international break and did not feature for Real Madrid until this break now, yet the Welshman showed his fitness in Wales training and played 60 minutes in their 2-0 win over Azerbaijan on Saturday.
