Bayern Munich have not made an approach to sign Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid, the player's agent Jonathan Barnett told ESPN FC on Monday.
The Wales international is reportedly one of the players expected to leave the Spanish giants this summer, and is considered surplus to requirements since the return of Zinedine Zidane as coach.
Reports in Spain had suggested Bayern were prepared to match Bale's wages in order to take the player on loan as they look to strengthen their attack after losing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery this summer.
However, Barnett labelled these reports as "rubbish."
Manchester United recently turned down the chance to speak to Madrid about the possibility of signing Bale because the club is looking to sign younger players.
