Bale trains without any issues for Wales: The Welsh mafia are back

Gareth Bale has barely featured for Real Madrid this season due to a series of injuries yet, once again, he appears fully fit upon his return to international duty with Wales.

The forward was all smiles as he was reunited with his Welsh colleagues in training on Monday, after having been limited to very little game time at Real Madrid.

Despite regularly appearing on the bench, Carlo Ancelotti continues to shun the former Tottenham star in favour of a host of other players.

Wales are set to face Austria in a World Cup playoff tie, and the national team's account shared an image of Bale with former Spurs teammate Joe Rodon.

"The Welsh mafia are back," read the tweet.

More minutes with Wales than Real Madrid

The situation has not gone down well with Los Blancos fans, since it is not the first or the second time that Bale is not available for his club but suddenly emerges fit and healthy for his national team.

Since September he has played 232 minutes in four games with Wales and 270 in five with Real Madrid. Should he play 48 minutes for his country, he will have played more for Wales than Madrid this campaign.
