Real Madrid have a busy month ahead and they need to start winning matches if they are to salvage their season, so Gareth Bale has decided he'll return to the Spanish capital to prepare for the upcoming matches.
He didn't play for Wales in the friendly against Spain and won't play for them in the UEFA Nations League match against the Republic of Ireland either.
His plan is to be back at the club's Valdebebas base on Monday.
After following a specific plan over the past week, since his substitution away at Alaves, he'll now return to the club.
Real Madrid's doctors have been in touch with the player throughout this international break, while the forward has also been able to count on the support of coach Ryan Giggs.
