Barcelona president Joan Laporta will not be attending the game against Mallorca and will therefore be absent from the Blaugrana expedition for Tuesday's game at Son Moix.
Laporta, who until now has maintained a hectic pace with the team, could rest in the coming weeks due to recommendations, although he does plan to attend the Champions League match against Porto next Wednesday, although it is not certain that he will travel with the expedition.
Laporta has had an intense summer transfer window, putting together a top-level squad and has managed to get Barça back in with a chance of winning all the competitions they are in this season.
The president has also been at the forefront of the team during the pre-season tour of the United States and in all its commitments. Then, since the start of the season, he has also been close to the first team both at home and away.
Laporta's travel schedule could slow down in the coming weeks due to recommendations after a very intense few months and, for this reason, he will not be in Mallorca for the league game in which Barça will defend top spot.
The idea is that the pace will continue to slow down for a few more weeks so that he can have an important rest and face the decisive phase of the season in the front line, as has been his custom since the beginning of his mandate.
