Barça striker Robert Lewandowski named Champions League player of the week

Robert Lewandowski has been voted Champions League player of the week thanks to the three goals he scored on his FC Barcelona debut in the continental competition.

The Polish striker dazzled in the win against Viktoria Plzen, which put them top of their group after the first matchday.

Lewy was competing for the UEFA award with three others.

PSG's Kylian Mbappé, who scored twice against Juventus.

Bayern Munich's Leroy Sané, who scored a goal to seal the German side's win over Inter Milan.

And Piotr Zielinski, who played a key role in Napoli's big win over Liverpool with a brace and an assist.
