FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the termination of Martin Braithwaite's contract, pending an official announcement. The 31-year-old striker was under contract with FC Barcelona until 30 June 2024.
The Danish player joined Barcelona in February 2020, after leaving Leganes for 18 million euros. Since then, he has made 58 appearances in the Barça jersey, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists.
With the termination of Braithwaite's contract, one of the biggest stories of the market in the Barça offices has been resolved.
Xavi made it clear to the player that he did not count on him for the current season, but far from looking for another destination, the Dane stuck to his contract till now.
