Ansu Fati has been one of the great revelations from this 2019/20 season so far and, at just 16 years of age, he has done enough for the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to ensure that he receives Spanish citizenship, which he will do so on Friday.
The Barcelona forward was born in Bissau but moved to Seville at six years old, and now Spain are desperate for him to feature at the Under-17 World Cup in Brazil, which will get underway on October 26.
Fati's presence at the tournament will prevent him from playing in the first Clasico of the season as Real Madrid will travel to the Camp Nou on October 27.

Fati, go on to fulfill your God given destiny. People may say want they want but picking Spanish citizenship is the best for you. What use to baffle me is that African people always fail to blame their leaders in Africa for African failure but tend to Channel blame to few talented individuals who try to pay the society where they find themselves back in appreciation what the society have done for them. African leaders should try and structure Africa for talents to thrive in Africa. Because we were able to see and talk Fati because he found himself in Spanish and the structure over there helps him to develop his God's given destiny. please, there are many undeveloped Fatis in Africa right now and even till the world end, so develop those ones, and leave the escaped Fati alone
