Manchester City want €60 million for the Spain international. Barça are offering €45 million for his services.
Barcelona have made Ferran Torres one of their main transfer targets under new boss Xavi Hernández. It was revealed several days ago that sporting director Mateu Alemany had travelled to Manchester to negotiate a deal with Manchester City.
Barça had reportedly reached an agreement with Torres, and also had City manager's Pep Guardiola's approval. Ferran approached Pep about leaving and the former Barcelona boss was willing to let the attacker leave on the condition that Barça paid the asking price. "Our players will not leave for free," Guardiola said at a press conference.
City asking for €60 million
Mundo Deportivo reports that Barça and City are still separated by €15 million. Pep's City want to sell the former Valencia star for €60 million (negotiations started at €70 million), and the Blaugrana are offering €45 million.
The operation to land the 21-year-old appears to be complicated despite both the player and Guardiola giving the go-ahead to the move.

Who are Barca selling to raise 45mln? Umtiti 10 + Coutinho 15 + Puig 5 + Balde 3 + Abdi 7 + Roberto 5 = 45
Apparently they have 10M, which means they can spread the payment over 5years and pay the first year already

it's not alone about reduced salary it's also about the current state Barca is in. in terms of winning and coping without Messi and consistency in games at this moment Barca can't even place 3rd in la liga
Exactly bro Y’all don’t know how footballers think seriously

barca want to buy every single damn player. they want Raheem sterling and torres.... If it's true that torres wants to leave I agree with pep in not holding a player back, but in my honest opinion torres going to barca at this present moment is not a good idea mainly because barca is flat broke. He is getting a full pay check at man city, if he goes to barca he's highly likely to have is fees cut in half... heck barca can't even keep Antoine griezman they have to loan him to buy
Bro what you saying? They’re getting loans too

Hahah you definitely dont know anything about finances hahah they dont have to sell anyone for the transfer fee. The only reason they have to sell someone is to lower the salaries since la liga have put a ceiling of 87M a year for Barça
Barca is already highly leveraged. How would you secure funding for procurements without outbound transfers?

Everyone is supposed to be a threat, not only the attackers. How many times do Busquets, gavi, abde or even the defenders take shots at the goal? This is where we need to change first.

Masa FCB leave Torres be, the problem is you don't train your players to take shots. Too too poor. U think you'll win games by penalties or by scoring at 80mins+, whereas you cannot defend that. Tsssuuiiippsss. 🙄🙄🙄
