Barcelona can register Alvarez after resolving financial issues

According to "Every Sport" news, it has become easier for Barcelona to sign Alvarez, as the club has resolved financial compliance issues.

Every time Barcelona communicated with Alvarez and his agent Fernando Hidalgo, they made it clear that there would be no problems registering the Argentine striker in La Liga. The difficulties encountered in registering new players in past seasons will not be repeated. Barcelona knows that they are very close to restoring the 1:1 spending ratio required by La Liga's financial fair play rules, a goal that finally became a reality yesterday.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta also issued a warning after taking office. "We can handle any operation that meets competitive and economic logic," he said in a media interview. Alvarez had been convinced for weeks that things would develop this way, which is why he made those strong remarks after the Argentine national team's World Cup victory over Austria. At the time, he said that the best solution for all parties was a transfer, and hoped that the club would allow him to realize his dream.

Barcelona has done the math, and the salary space freed up by Lewandowski's departure is enough to register Gordon with a surplus. This surplus, plus the salaries saved by Ansu-Fati, Christensen, and other players who have not yet left (such as Ter Stegen or Casado), should be enough to complete Alvarez's registration, provided that the transfer fee ultimately paid for the Argentine striker is not ridiculously high.

In this regard, Laporta made it clear on Wednesday that the game is still ongoing, and after Alvarez's statement, Barcelona believes it has the upper hand. The Barcelona president revealed that he has communicated with Atletico Madrid representatives, and Deco had sent an offer, but it was rejected. That offer was about 100 million euros. Barcelona's current strategy is to wait until after the World Cup to make a decision, and then decide whether to increase the offer or withdraw and pursue other players. Barcelona remains optimistic that Alvarez will eventually wear the Blaugrana jersey.
