Barcelona deny the crazy looking 2019-20 kit will be worn

On Sunday afternoon Footy Headlines released pictures of a shirt which puported to be Barcelona's for the 2019-20 season.

It was a crazy design put together from the different Nike strips from the last 20 years - they started sponsoring Barca in 1999.

However the club say that it is NOT going to be a shirt the players wear to play with.

Instead it is a special edition strip that Nike are releasing to mark the 20 year partnership. Barcelona moved quickly to quash the false alarm created by these images.

It's not the first time Nike have done this with a football shirt. They created one to celebrate an anniversary with Arsenal before.
