nymar's value have depreciated over the years and he's not getting any younger. so the club president is right in his offers. Psg can either take it or leave it for good. Alternatively, if nymar is so desperate about coming back to Barça, let him put up the cash his club is demanding.

I said it before, I'll way it again. The board are taking senior players and fans for a ride in this Neymar saga. They're trying extremely hard not to pay out of their own pockets (to balance the books on or before June the 1st, 2020). We don't have the money to purchase Neymar, anything asides a loan deal with an obligation to buy will mean the board paying from their personal cuffers - to avoid the red fingers of FFP - something they wouldn't want to happen. Now that Neymar has revealed to the players what Barca has put forward, the pressure is now on the board to act lest the camp nou shall witness what I'll call an Armageddon.
