Barcelona gear up for a crazy September

Once the international break comes to an end, Barcelona have a busy and important month on their hands.

Ernesto Valverde's side will play seven matches in the space of three weeks, starting with Valencia at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Junior Firpo will be available for selection after recovering from their injuries as the Blaugrana look to avoid dropping more points.

The loss to Athletic Club and draw with Osasuna have left Barcelona five points off the top of LaLiga Santander and they can't afford to lose more ground in their five league fixtures in September.

After Valencia on Sunday, the Catalans travel to Granada, host Villarreal, take a trip to Getafe and face Julen Lopetegui's Sevilla before the month is out.

There are also match-ups with Borussia Dortmund in Germany and Inter at the Camp Nou in the Champions League group stage.
