Barcelona were described as having 'no punch' following their El Clasico defeat by arch-rivals Real Madrid on Sunday.
That was the headline on the front page of Monday's edition of Mundo Deportivo as the Spanish press reacted to the enemies' first showdown of the season.
Ronald Koeman's side fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Carlo Ancelotti's outfit with Sergio Aguero's goal only a consolation in the seventh minute of injury time.
Real went ahead courtesy of a David Alaba stunner in the 32nd minute with Lucas Vazquez doubling their lead in second-half stoppage time.
Los Blancos, who moved up to second with victory, were hailed as 'lethal' by Marca while the front page of AS on Monday morning read: 'Madrid Roars'.
Barca boss Koeman endured a difficult exit from their home ground on Sunday afternoon with supporters swarming around his car at the stadium exit.
The Dutch coach is blamed by most fans for the Barcelona's poor start to the season and after losing his third straight Clasico he drove away from the ground only for his car to be confronted by a group of young supporters waiting to take pictures of players as they left the Nou Camp.
Most of the attention was harmless with many just taking selfies in front of Koeman but some banged on the bonnet of the manager's car and there were some insults as he was finally able to pull away.
Barcelona swiftly condemned the incident, adding it would implement 'disciplinary measures' to ensure the event remains a one-off.
'FC Barcelona publicly condemns the violent and disdainful acts that our manager experienced when leaving the Camp Nou,' the club said in a statement posted on its official Twitter account.
'The club will take security and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.'
The under-fire Dutchman insisted he was not disappointed by his side's performance, which left them down in ninth place in LaLiga.
He said: 'We controlled the game in the first half. And we had a great chance to take the lead.
'But in the second half they defended well and we were not able to create danger. I'm disappointed by the result but not by the performance.'

It is only a fool who doesn't recognise a defeat of this class and would want to be trampled upon by 20:0 before the would see that their team is no good to compete in elite competitions. I pity Barcelona.
