Inter director Piero Ausilio insisted Barcelona have not opened talks over a move for Alessandro Bastoni.
However, Ausilio claimed the Blaugrana know which contacts to reach out to, should they wish to strike a deal for the defender.
Bastoni, who has made 295 appearances for Inter, is reportedly of interest to the Spanish giants.
Reports have suggested Barca have even opened negotiations with the 27-year-old's representatives.
Ausilio, though, said no club-to-club talks have taken place at this moment.
"Bastoni has a contract with Inter and I don't think any circumstances would suggest Bastoni is moving away from Inter," Ausilio said, as quoted by Football Italia, citing TMW.
"I don't know what they say. I know we are happy with Bastoni and what he has given to Inter. I'm sure he has much more to give to Inter.
"Then, if there’s an interest in Bastoni, they know the telephone numbers [to call]; they should do that, instead of talking."
Bastoni has made 26 league appearances for Inter this season, with the Nerazzurri surging towards the Serie A title.
He has played his part in eight clean sheets, making 79 clearances while contesting (212) and winning (124) more duels than any of his defensive team-mates.
