Barcelona sign agreement with blockchain platform Chiliz

Barcelona have signed a news sponsorship deal with blockchain company Chiliz.

The move has been taken in order to have fans feeling more involved, as supporters can now interact with the club by engaging in surveys and in different daily activities.

Supporters can now buy 'Fan Tokens', which give them the right to take part in polls related to the club.

They can also take part by using Chiliz's own cryptocurrency, Chiliz $CHZ.

The agreement was formalised on Friday in an event at the Camp Nou.

Additionally, fans can also win prizes by participating in the polls and surveys, which could see them receive exclusive products and experiences related to Barcelona.
