Barcelona welcome Atletico Madrid to Camp Nou on Sunday afternoon in what is a vital game for both sides in La Liga.

The current campaign has not gone according to plan for either team and, while in previous years this fixture has been something of a title decider, this weekend's meeting will have more of a bearing on the battle for fourth place.

Barcelona have won just two of their last five home league matches but bet365 make them favourites at 5/4 (2.25) to claim three points.

Atletico's form on the road, meanwhile, has been disastrous, with the defending champions claiming just one victory in their last eight clashes away from home.

Diego Simeone's men can be backed at 11/5 (3.20) with the draw on offer at 12/5 (3.40).

Former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be hopeful of making his debut for the Blaugrana this weekend and the Gabonese forward is the shortest priced player to open the scoring at 4/1 (5.00).

Ferran Torres is yet to score in the league for his new club and is offered at 11/2 (6.50) to break the deadlock, while former Barca striker Luis Suarez is offered at the same price to net first against his old employers.

The January transfer window saw Barcelona strengthen their forward line considerably with the signing of Adama Traore further bolstering Xavi Hernandez's option following the arrivals of Aubameyang and Ferran Torres respectively.

The Catalans have scored in 10 of the 11 league matches they have played since the new manager took over, yet they have often lacked a spark in the final third and their total of 32 strikes in La Liga is only the seventh highest in the division.

Barca will be hopeful the new additions can bring more of a killer instinct to their attacking play and this weekend they face an Atletico side who have struggled badly at the back.

Los Rojiblancos are in uncharted territory under Diego Simeone having conceded 26 goals in 21 matches, with 10 sides currently boasting a better defensive record than the defending champions.

Atletico have conceded over 1.5 goals in seven of their last nine matches in all competitions and backing Barca to score at least twice at 6/5 (2.20) could be an interesting option.
