Barcelona fans are getting used to celebrating goals of late. The Catalans were again at their clinical best away to Napoli in the Europa League, once more scoring four goals as they played away from the Camp Nou.
In their previous domestic outing, which came at Valencia in LaLiga Santander, Barcelona also scored four in a 4-1 win. Xavi Hernandez wanted the team to maintain that form in Italy, and they did just that with their goals coming from Jordi Alba, Frenkie de Jong, Gerard Pique and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Scoring four goals at Napoli isn't an easy thing to do. The Partenopei have Serie A's best defensive record and they are locked in a title race with Inter and AC Milan at the moment. But Barcelona sent them packing.
A convincing Aubameyang
Aubameyang deserves singling out for praise, getting on the scoresheet again after his hat-trick at Mestalla.
Having scored four against Napoli and Valencia recently, as well as four in a 4-2 win over Atletico Madrid and two in a 2-2 draw in the derby against Espanyol, it's clear that this Blaugrana side know how to score. Their early season struggles in front of goal now look to be a distant memory.
Pique: A European No.9
The Barcelona centre-back is their leading goalscorer in Europe this season, having scored twice this season in continental action. Jordi Alba, who opened the scoring against the Italians, also showed that the Catalans have goals all over the pitch now.

Barcelona are the team to beat in the Europa league this season. Their firepower is back. Sometimes, all you need is a mentor (coach, if you may), who has the winning mentality and a clearly-defined path. Add that to a track record of successes as both a player and a manager and the other necessary ingredient -the trust of your players- and the team is ready to fly and achieve great things. The best is yet to come for Barcelona with Xavi at the helm.
