Karim Benzema has made it clear that he wants to win this season's LaLiga Santander title with Real Madrid.
His late equaliser at Valencia on Sunday means that Los Blancos will go into Wednesday's Clasico with Barcelona top of the table.
"I want to win this league title and, if I can help my teammates with play and with words, I will do it," Benzema said.
"I'm the third captain and I have to help.
Real Madrid will be wanting to avoid a repeat of last season's 5-1 defeat to Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
"It's always difficult there," Benzema said.
"[Away at] the Camp Nou is always the most important game of the season.
"Let's hope we win."
