Karim Benzema was chosen as the Mahou Five Star Player for October. The top scorer in LaLiga received the award before training at Real Madrid City, recognising his merits of the last month, in which he scored at the Bernabéu against Granada and Leganés.
The French striker explained what it means for him to be among the top scorers in the history of Real Madrid: "It makes me feel very happy because Real Madrid is the best club in the world and also gives me a lot of confidence to work and do more at this club".
"Not conceding goals means that we work together and we have the same idea of playing at the highest level in every game. It's very good for everyone, but we need to continue this positive dynamic and we need to work harder". Fans choose, via social networks, the winner of this monthly prize, which Benzema also received in August and September.
