Sergio Ramos has become a master of penalties and it's now hard to argue that there's a more clinical taker in European football than the Real Madrid captain.

The defender has been first choice from the spot since Cristiano Ronaldo left, and he's not missed any of his 12 efforts since.

He took the kick away from Cristiano Ronaldo with Madrid leading 2-1 and, of course, he scored the third in a 5-1 victory against Athletic Club.

May 9, 2018 vs Sevilla

With Sevilla leading 2-0, Lucas Vazquez was fouled and Ramos hit the crossbar with Cristiano being rested. He had another chance later though and scored, but Madrid lost.

August 15, 2018 vs Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid were beaten by Atletico 4-2 in the European Super Cup in Julen Lopetegui's first match in charge, but Ramos put the team ahead after a Juanfran handball.

August 26, 2018 vs Girona

His Panenka returned against Girona in a 4-1 win.

September 1, 2018 vs Leganes

A week later Madrid beat Leganes 4-1 and the captain again converted from the sport.

November 3, 2018 vs Valladolid

It was another Panenka for Ramos as Santiago Solari got his spell on the bench off to a winning start.

November 11, 2018 vs Celta

The Panenka was becoming his own personal party trick by now and he did it again against Celta Vigo in a 4-2 win.

January 9, 2019 vs Leganes

This time he went low and hard against Leganes in the Copa del Rey.

January 24, 2019 vs Girona

He faced a new opponent in Girona but returned to his favoured Panenka execution.

February 9, 2019 vs Atletico Madrid

Against Atletico Madrid he went low again and despite reading the effort, Jan Oblak couldn't keep it out.

October 30, 2019 vs Leganes

He likes facing Leganes and he scored another against them this season.

November 6, 2019 vs Galatasaray

He got his Champions League penalty and, surprise surprise, it came through a Panenka.

November 11, 2019 vs Eibar

Ramos converted his own penalty against Eibar and then passed another on to Karim Benzema, allowing him to end his drought.

February 16, 2020 vs Celta

His latest came against Celta and appeared to hand Madrid three points but they conceded late on to draw.
