Betis 1-1 Girona: Isco assists after contarct renewal, Antony sent off

At the 19th minute of the first half, Girona took the lead with the goal scored by Vladyslav Vanat. Betis sealed the equalizer through Valentín Gómez at the 29th minute of the second half.

A great play by the Verdiblancos, at 29 minutes of the second half, was the one that moved the score thanks to Valentín Gómez. A pass from Isco found the defender, who won the position and jumped to head the ball and send it into Paulo Gazzaniga's right post. 

Betis had more opportunities to take the victory but did not find the way to score the goal that would make the difference. It threatened the opposing goal with 23 shots, of which 10 were on target and 12 off target.

The best player of the match was Pablo Fornals. The Betis midfielder was accurate with 86 successful passes and attempted to score on the opposing goal twice.
