Betting Tips: Hertha Berlin vs Freiburg

Pal Dardai's side have won each of their three home league games so far this term and look worthy favourites to continue that streak against Freiburg

Few would have expected Hertha Berlin to get the better of Bayern Munich in their recent clash. The favourites underperformed as they have most of the season so far, but the Olympiastadion has proved a tough place to visit.

A 2-0 win against the German champions was the third consecutive home league win for Pal Dardai's men and they're 17/20 (1.85) to make it four victories in a row on Sunday.

Freiburg have already been on the wrong end of big defeats at the hands of Hoffenheim and Augsburg this term so the 10/3 (4.33) quotes about an away win are unlikely to prove popular.

The impressive display against Bayern wasn't the first time Hertha have shown their prowess at home either.

Borussia Monchengladbach, who sit third in the table coming into this weekend, left Berlin empty handed last month and that 4-2 defeat is the only loss on their form book after seven games.

With that in mind, 17/20 (1.85) looks a very solid option on another home win in this fixture. The visitors are without Pascal Stenzel and Nils Petersen who both played significant roles in the 2017-18 campaign and their form on the road leaves a lot to be desired.

Freiburg finished 15th last season, winning just one away game and that came against bottom club FC Koln. They lost 10 matches on the road in total and two of their three games away from home this term have ended the same way.

What's more, they're yet to face a team that currently sits inside the top eight of the division. While it’s early days, much tougher tests await Christian Streich's side, starting this weekend and it could be another tough trip.

At 17/20 (1.85) with 888Sport, Hertha look worthy of support given how well they’ve started the campaign and Freiburg's poor performances on the road.
