Betting Tips: Villarreal vs Real Madrid

Los Blancos have a less-than-impressive defensive record on the road in La Liga and we think that will lead to another high-scoring game this weekend

Zinedine Zidane takes his Real Madrid side to Villarreal's Estadio de la Ceramica in La Liga's late kick-off on Sunday evening.

Isco became the latest Real Madrid player to suffer an injury this week, with the Spain international joining the likes of Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio, James Rodriguez on the sidelines.

Villarreal are set to be without defenders Alberto Moreno and Ruben Pena.

Recent clashes between these two sides have provided plenty of entertainment as well as goals, with the last five scorelines being 3-2, 2-2, 2-2, 0-1 and 2-3.

There could well be another high-scoring match on the cards here given Villarreal's start to the season as the Yellow Submarine have already conceded six times in their opening two games, with both games being against modest opponents.

Madrid may be missing some key players but they do boast an in-form Karim Benzema, who has made a strong start to the season with a goal in each game so far and could well cause the Villarreal defence some problems.

Real Madrid have been defensively disappointing away from home with Zidane's side keeping just two clean sheets in their last 24 league matches on the road, and backing both teams to score in their matches away from the Bernabeu has been almost a guaranteed winner over the last year.

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is priced at 4/6 (1.66) while Villarreal are offered at 6/5 (2.20) to score over 1.5 goals against Madrid for the fourth consecutive game.
