Bisson on Barcelona stars: They're normal people and very friendly

According to Sport, 18-year-old Barcelona winger Jesse Bisson is currently training with the Belgium U21 national team during this international break. In an interview with Belgian regional television ROBtv, he discussed adapting to life at Barcelona and his experiences interacting with the first-team stars.

Bisson said that initially, being around stars like Yamal and Raphinha was quite a shock, but once he entered the locker room, that feeling quickly disappeared.

"Football stars are actually just normal young people, and they are all very friendly," Bisson stated.

One thing that surprised Bisson after joining Barcelona was how naturally he was accepted by his teammates. He specifically mentioned Raphinha, who has been an important role model for him since he joined and actively checks on his adaptation to the new environment.

Bisson said, "As captain, Raphinha makes sure to know how I'm doing and how I feel at the club."

However, the three players Bisson is currently closest to are Karim Adeyemi, De Jong, and Koundé. "Right now, I mostly spend time with them," Bisson said.

This is mainly due to language. Bisson is still learning Spanish, so communicating with teammates in English is more convenient for him at this stage.

Being called up to the Belgium U21 national team is another step forward in Bisson's development. He is currently being developed between Barcelona's first team and Barca Atlètic, and continues to grow under head coach Flick's guidance.

Regarding Barcelona's long-term plan for him, Bisson previously revealed, "Barcelona has a five-year plan for me."
