Those top gainer clubs are mostly for business, and that's why they are somewhat struggling. Naturally, our academy players are meant to develop and move into the first team to continue the team's culture and play with their heart for the badge they have donned since childhood. That's why I value Barcelona in keeping and graduating their products. Messi, Xavi, Busquet, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique and Pedro were at a time the core of the team, and they achieved great success. Presently, Yamal, Pedri, Balde, Gavi are the ones carrying the culture. Therefore, not being in the top gainers doesn't mean they don't have a good academy; it only means they are visionary with their academy products. Chelsea could have done the same, but the demand for trophies by most English clubs makes them look out for already proven players to compete with others. This is why we don't have EPL teams in the list above.
