In the fourth round of the Champions League group stage, Barcelona secured a dominant 3-0 home victory over Aston Villa. In the 64th minute, Cancelo delivered a brilliant outside-of-the-boot cross from the left, and Raphinha tapped it in from close range to seal the win.
It was Cancelo's second assist in this season's Champions League. In the first four rounds, he started and played the full 90 minutes in every match, contributing one goal and two assists for a direct involvement in three goals.
Such attacking output is exceptional for a full-back. He has been just as solid defensively, making 8 tackles and 6 clearances in four matches, and has performed impressively at both ends of the pitch.
