In the first round of the Champions League group stage, Real Madrid came from behind to win 2-1 against Internazionale. After the match, former coach Fabio Capello analyzed the contest in the Sky Sport studio.
Capello said of Internazionale: "Internazionale started very well, controlling the pace of the game, while Real Madrid struggled to find their rhythm. Internazionale could have dominated the match as they pleased. They failed to capitalize on the opportunities they created and did not make sufficient use of Diouf's significant advantage on the right wing. The team's attacking play down that flank was far too limited."
"There were also many short passes throughout the match. I noticed that Real Madrid were vulnerable when dealing with long passes and crosses from the flanks. Clearly, Internazionale had not prepared tactically for this approach."
He continued: "Real Madrid showed tactical vulnerabilities at that point. It's unfortunate that Internazionale did not seize this opportunity. Courtois was the standout player on the pitch. When you face a Real Madrid team whose midfield is unbalanced, you must capitalize on that, but Internazionale failed to do so."

Madrid was too weak. Perhaps first match or inter Milan was stronger.
We’re weak tho but if we capitalize on half of the chances we see……… we will score almost “4” apart from the mistakes we capitalize on
