Match Report
Sol Bamba fired in a winner at the death to seal a huge victory for Cardiff.
Brighton took the lead after six minutes through Lewis Dunk but the pendulum swung in favour of the home side just before the half-hour mark.
First, Callum Paterson eqaulised and then Dale Stephens was sent off for a lunge on Greg Cunningham.
It seemed like it wasn't meant to be and that it was going to be a missed opportunity for Cardiff, but they made their numerical advantage count at the end with Bamba firing in with minutes left on the clock to seal victory.

People are blaming the ref here. Personally I think the red card was harsh, but it was easily a challenge that could've broken a leg. Also the goal was obviously offside, but I really don't see how you can judge something that minuscule as a linesman. Fast track VAR now.

Haha Liam trying to blame the Cardiff player for getting full on studs up tackled. Clearly has problems with Cardiff.

Poor decision from the referee firstly for the red card and secondly for not indicating an offside which eventually led to the goal. But is there fairness in premiere league?? Y was Bamba not booked for taking off his shirt while celebrating his goal but Gray was booked last week for the same offense, that shows clearly wat premiere league is all about

I'm finding myself rooting for Cardiff and Warnock this season. Considering the quality of their squad, Warnock is working absolute miracles. He actually showed some degree of tactical nous today aswell, switching the play from side to side to tire Brighton out, and putting on a more attack minded full back in the last 20 mins to stretch the play more. Brighton were poor today, but they should be fine. They should have enough to finish in a boring lower mid table position

Sol Bamba has more goals than Virgil van Dijk. Warnock is vindicated.

"We've been dire." "Abysmal performance." "Awful." Sorry but we're not Barcelona and don't necessarily outplay teams when down to ten men after half an hour away from home, losing to a last minute scramble.

Love Warnock reaction for the winner. Just like a kid on birthday party. Well played, Blue Birds. It's always difficult for the away side especially playing with a man short for almost an hour.

Clearly not a red, offside goal and no booking for taking his shirt off tells you everything you need to know about Atkinson and this game
