Cartagena president: I don't want the fans to whistle Barcelona

Barcelona are set to face Cartagena in a friendly on Wednesday and the hosts' president Paco Belmonte has called for his fans to not whistle the Catalans.

Money raised from the game will go to the region of Murcia as help after the recent floods there, but Belmonte is aware of the possibility for a reaction against Barcelona due to the ongoing Catalan situation.

"We don't want them to whistle Barcelona," he said of his side's fans ahead of the match in an interview with Radio MARCA, highlighting the great gesture of the Catalan club.

A number of Barcelona's first-team squad members will take part in the game, or have at least been included in the squad.

Gerard Pique, Ousmane Dembele, Neto, Sergi Roberto, Junior Firpo, Carles Perez, Carles Alena, and RIqui Puig are all in the squad.
