Carvajal wins out in the battle of the brothers-in-law

Dani Carvajal wasn't the member of the Canizares family that was expected to score at the Estadio de Mendizorroza on Saturday afternoon.

The Real Madrid right-back netted the winner against brother-in-law Joselu's Alaves from close range.

The two players are related through their partners, Melanie and Daphne, who are twin sisters.

Carvajal's goal came shortly after Lucas Perez had equalised for Alaves from the penalty spot, following a Sergio Ramos foul on Joselu in the penalty area.
