Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has said the club’s Coach Zinedine Zidane is the best man for the job.
The legendary former goalkeeper - who is still playing for FC Porto - was speaking after Madrid’s 1-0 victory at Sevilla on Sunday evening.
That result put Los Blancos joint top of La Liga with Athletic Club Bilbao on 11 points - despite Zidane coming under increasing pressure in his role.
“Zidane is the most (suitable for the Madrid job),” Casillas wrote on his Twitter account.
“Some will discuss if he has a flower (luck) but there will be no talk of a possible replacement on the bench. Nor that there was a bad management of the club for betting with veteran people who could be satiated with success. Nor those young people who are the immediate future.”

Zidane made it pretty clear from the start that he is the one that makes the decisions, and that if he wasn't he would quit. You are obviously talking about Navas and Courtois (as always), but Zidane is the one that made the decision and you are giving way to importance to "marketing reasons" which are simply not right. How many GK shirts do you think Real Madrid or any club sell every season? Definitely not much, and definitely not plenty enough to influence a decision on the first XI. You are also overestimating Courtois' market value. Everybody obviously hates him and Belgium fans are the only ones buying things with his name, if any. Navas has Costa Rica and a whole continent backing him up. So once again, you are are using your whole nationality inferiority complex.
