Former Italy international Antonio Cassano has claimed that Juventus would only cut the salaries because “they already know” the season is over.
The players and the club at the Allianz Stadium agreed on a pay cut during the forced break, revealing a saved cost of €90m for the Old Lady.
But the former Roma star Cassano has claimed they must know that the 2019-20 season will not resume.
“If Juventus have cut wages, it’s because the campaign will almost certainly not resume,” Cassano told Corriere dello Sport. “It means that they already know it, otherwise they wouldn’t have done so.
“It could have been done month by month. It could also have been done in late June. In Serie A it’s right to make cuts.”
“In Serie B and in Serie C, they have to find a solution to not take the money away from the players, there are people who earn three, four or five thousand euros. They have a mortgage on the house and bought a car in instalments.”
Cassano has claimed that he agrees with FIGC President Gabriele Gravina, who doesn’t want to write off the season, but insists that a suggested playoff to crown a winner would be the best solution for Serie A.
“I agree with Gravina, but if you could possibly resume training on May 3, it would take at least a month to prepare and this would mean arriving in August and it becomes a massacre for next year.
“Personally, I would do the playoffs to assign the championship.”

what I expected from this man is to praise Juventus fc for their donations and support towards this problems Italy are facing now. what we suppose to discuss is ways to solve this problem Italy are facing now not to discuss if the season is over or not.

Only in Italy. All other league will over this season. We let's begin fresh from another season. It is not time to discuss about football. Because life is more than all
