Chants about Pique & Shakira at Mestalla have been reported

LaLiga Santander have sent their weekly report to the Spanish FA and to Spain's anti-violence commission and have pointed out offensive chanting from two of the eighth round's matches.

The first of the matches is Valencia vs Barcelona, where there were insults towards Gerard Pique and Shakira, his wife.

"In the moments before the referee started the match, a group of around 1,000 home supporters of the Curva Nord group, located at the lower level of the south goal at the MA Kempes section and forming part of the home side's singing section, sang in coordinated fashion for around 10 seconds," the report states.

"They sang 'Pique bastard, Shakira has a tail, your son is Wakaso and you're gay' towards Gerard Pique of the away team.

"This song was not seconded by the rest of the fans."

The report adds that this chant was repreated by the same group in the 35th minute of the match.

Also included in this week's report was Alaves' home match against Real Madrid.

"Around 1,500 home fans, located in the singing section of the Fondo Polideportivo stand and identified through a banner as Iraultza 1921 Fanatics, sang 'f**king Real Madrid' in coordinated fashion for around 10 seconds," it stated.

"This was not seconded by the rest of the fans."

This was said to have been chanted on six occasions.
