The player's wife and agent, Wanda Nara, has received the Premier League side's opening bid, which is more a statement than anything - it will take more than that.
Chelsea have made the first move in what is likely to turn into a bidding war for in-demand Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
The 25-year-old is on the radar of several of Europe’s top clubs, including Real Madrid, but has yet to decide if he will leave Inter at the end of the season, stating in a recent interview that he can see himself at the Serie A club “when I am 30 years old.”
Icardi in the frame for Stamford Bridge
However, Chelsea have made an opening offer of 63 million euros for the striker’s services as question marks have started to emerge over Álvaro Morata’s suitability for the Premier League after the former Real Madrid striker’s move to Stamford Bridge last summer.
Italian journalist Fernando Czyz has said that Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, has received the offer, which is more of a statement of intent and a nod to Icardi that Chelsea are interested than a firm bid: it is unlikely in the current market that a seven-figure sum will tempt Inter to part with their captain and star player.

Maybe it the good time to get icardi for Chelsea. Because inter already buy lautaro martinez, maybe as the replacement. Icardi have good physical and good in dribbling. So he can adapt well in the league. Blues all my life.

Chelsea we dont need any more striker to come in again I trust morata to do the job well it's just conte should try and improve the way he style of coaching is a coach cannot use the same tactics he used to win one season to another season..the players role are not interpreted well by the coach and also we have so many players we bought buy yet arw not still playing. please let's look on how to make Chelsea a better club with the players we have.ONE LIFE ONE LOVE ONE CLUB

For one Inter won't accept that more over the agent won't accept it because Icardi played more than Morata when he was at Real Madrid and he scored more goals......and Chelsea paid £75 mil for Morata and for me Icardi is a better striker...yes Morata has time to improve to become possibly better but Icardi is on a role....and I think if Chelsea wants to show some strong interest they need to put more on the table something over 75 million......and if Real Madrid is really interested they are going to face some big competition to bring in Icardi...but let's say they do that....what will happen to Giroud and Morata? Because right there Icardi brings more challenge and competition for both strikers....and who knows maybe the goal against Leicester City for Morata is the sign of him getting back in for to help lead Chelsea to become FA Cup champions and hopefully back in the top four.

Its clear that Chelsea has a problem. the solution does not lie in the hands of a new striker, it lies on the level of motivation of the existing strikers at the club. the manager must look for a way of motivating the club's strikers. 63 million can get two good young fresh mid fielders to replace the aging Fabregas and Pedro. Or one good defender to replace Cahill and David Louis and a good midfielder. we need more creative players who can assist. Hazard and William are good, but they need competition. Michy was a good and solid compettion to morata rather than Giroud. I rest my case. BLUES FOR LIFE!!!!
