Angel Correa’s agent is expected in Italy tomorrow, as he tries to broker a deal between Atletico Madrid and Milan, but the gap remains €10m.
It had already been reported in Argentina that representative Agustin Jimenez was on his way and Sky Sport Italia confirmed it this evening.
He hopes to reach a breakthrough, because La Gazzetta dello Sport, MilanNews.it and Radio Rossonera all state the offer has not changed from €40m plus €5m in bonuses.
Atletico Madrid are demanding €55m and it’s suggested Monaco are prepared to pay that sum, but Correa continues to turn down the Ligue 1 side, as he only wants Milan.
There is a domino effect waiting to happen, because Atletico Madrid have agreed a €60m deal with Valencia for Rodrigo Moreno, who in turn could bring in Andre Silva from Milan for €25m.
As they are all interconnected, someone has to take that first step and stump up the cash.
