Courtois: I followed Cucurella but he hasn't followed back, he hasn't joined our group chat yet

After Belgium advanced to the FIFA World Cup Round of 16, Courtois told DAZN that he followed Cucurella on social media, but the latter had not yet followed him back.

Courtois joked. "I just followed Cucurella on social media, but he hasn't followed me back yet. But it's okay, he hasn't joined our WhatsApp group yet."

"I've also talked to some other people, more with Mbappe, he's in hot form, and so is Vinicius... So, I hope they continue to score goals in the FIFA World Cup, and I hope they continue to score goals for Real Madrid in the new season."

Although currently focused on the FIFA World Cup, Courtois also expects Real Madrid to achieve success in the new season, with Mourinho at the helm.

He said: "Both of them (Mbappe and Vinicius) are incredibly good players, and when you see them playing at this level... I hope that under the new head coach, we can integrate them well, play exciting football, and win championships, because I think we have a very good team. I hope we can continue to win more trophies."
