Premier League star Christian Benteke is facing a driving ban after being caught doing more than twice the speed limit in his £136,000 Bentley.
The Crystal Palace striker, 28, was caught by traffic cameras going 89mph on a 40mph road near the Tibbets underpass on the A3 near Wandsworth, south London, on March 11.
Former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas and ex Wimbledon tennis champion Boris Becker were caught speeding along the same stretch of road last year.
Benteke was also caught clocked a speed of 80mph on a 50mph road in New Malden, southwest London, in his Bentley Bentayga 4x4 on January 20.
The Belgian admitted two counts of speeding in the sports car but did not appear before Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court today.
Benteke, of Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, is due to be sentenced on 30 August.
He faces a driving ban of up to 56 days and fines of up to £1000 for each of the two speeding charges.
Benteke was first told of the prosecutions by the Metropolitan Police in written notices sent to his £6.5 million home in Surrey.
Palace signed the international from Liverpool for £32m in 2016 and he scored 15 times in his first season but has scored just four times in two seasons since then.

Good to know he is still capable of 'speeding' since his Aston villa days. 😂😂
