Valencia have had a stuttering start to their 2018/19 campaign and are down in 14th place in the LaLiga Santander table, but former player David Villa believes they'll be near the top come the business end of the season.
The striker also explained that they could enjoy some success in the Europa League.
"I have a lot of love for Valencia and for Marcelino," he said when interviewed during a tour around Spain.
"I am sure that they'll shoot up towards the top in the league.
"The Europa League is also a good opportunity for them."
Villa has just left New York City FC and is spending some time in his home country before a move to Japanese side Vissel Kobe.
