If barca paid €150m for alvarez then this must be stupid barca transfer strategy of all time cuz as a striker he dont worth it, had it been its a world class winger no problem but any striker that is not 💯 consistent and reliable paying such fee to sign is a big gamble, a striker has to be haaland, mbaffe or kane in-spite of his age to worth a €150m or more, with this fee barca can sign a striker with alvarez quality though not a world class one and also invest in solid defender. Though i notices deco or barca is finding it difficult to sign any defender now being it a centre back, left back or right back unless some players like aroujo, kunde, balde, martin or cristensen leaves and it looks likely these players still have running contract and all of them doesn’t have a plan to leave and barca can never have the ability to sign some until somes leaves due to laliga financial fair play regulations but still am wondering how on earth barca think they can win UCL with those average defenders, cuz to be frankly all of barca defense are not solid at all with exception of cubarsi and eric but even these duo made some inexperience mistake due to their ages. Barca attacks now the can compete and destroy any defense no matter how solid it is but am yet to be convince the current defense can defend our goals more especially with that risky high line system
