Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is about reach 100 career goals for Sevilla, Real Madrid and the Spanish national team.
After 787 games the 32-year-old has sent the ball into the back of the net 98 times - a spectacular figure for a centre-back.
Ramos debuted with Sevilla in the UEFA Cup, on September 16, 2004, and scored his team's second goal in a 2-0 win against the Portuguese team, Nacional.
Ten days later he netted his first in the league against Real Sociedad to help his team to a 2-1 victory.
At the age of 18 he had already shown his scoring skills, striking his last Sevilla goal against his current team, three months before departing to the capital.
At Los Blancos, he scored the first of his 78 goals in the Champions League, on December 6 against Olympiacos, in his team's 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Greek team.
His second Real goal came in a 2-0 win against Malaga at the Estadio La Rosaleda and his first home goal was against Athletic Club, in the Copa del Rey, on January 11, 2006.
At the moment, Ramos has 57 goals in LaLiga Santander, 11 in the Champions League, four in the Copa del Rey, two in the Spanish Super Cup, two in the Club World Cup and two in the European Super Cup.
This season he has even been appointed as the team's set piece taker, also scoring Spain's penalties in recent games.
With La Roja he has accumulated 17 goals in 161 matches, although he has never netted one in a major tournament, having scored five goals in friendlies, another five in World Cup qualifiers, four in European Championship qualifiers and three in the UEFA Nations League.

I think he was the best in recent years but now due to his age and in an increase in competition level Ramos is no longer the same person we knew done years back. Is true he is a technical player that to pass him is very difficult but to be sincere the most brilliant and the most technical defender I the world now is van Virgil. He is unique cus he got all the abilities a defender should have for example he is tall, huge, strong in the air, reads the game perfectly well and above all fast and most of all he does not commit silly fowls like Ramos nor take cards anyhow so for me Virgil is the best defender in the world now

big man stop talking as if he is the first defender to reach a 100 goals tally. .check howmany goals Ronald Koeman a Barcelona defender scored i seriously doubt Ramos will break his record
They're hyping him up and overrating him so much, let them have a look at Beckenbauer who carried his country to a world cup. I swear these people get happy over stats like goalscoring over the relevant stats in a position. Defensively Ramos isn't even better than Varane. Let alone Van Dijk or Koulibaly who are far better....
